The role of a System Administrator is to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the company’s business processes and resolve various technical issues.
Responsible for maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, networks, servers, and virtualization.
Supporting company employees, ensuring timely resolution of issues with desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment with minimal disruption.
Installing and updating computer components and software, managing virtual servers, and integrating automation processes.
Setting up new workplaces, configuring IT equipment, creating user accounts, assigning access rights, and installing necessary software (Microsoft Windows, Office, Teams, OneDrive, Google Workspace).
Troubleshooting IT issues and system failures within the company.
Supporting potential relocation of IT infrastructure and equipment.
Organising repair works for IT equipment.
Managing system upgrades to newer versions and models.
Ensuring antivirus protection and conducting security checks.
Providing reports to the team lead on completed work.
Supporting key components: operating systems, business applications, security tools, web servers, email systems, PCs, and local and wide area networks (hardware and software), as well as mid-range server hardware.
Managing network servers and technological tools.
Working with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.
Ensuring security through access control, backups, and firewalls.
Performing regular backups and implementing data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
Responsible for capacity planning, data storage, and database performance.
Higher technical education.
2+ years of relevant experience.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft products.
Knowledge of cybersecurity is preferred.
Problem-solving mindset.
English — Upper Intermediate or higher.
Strong communication skills.
