Diverse project portfolio, including market entry strategy, industry analysis, competitive intelligence, and commercial due diligence.
Collaboration with international consulting teams across the BDO network, including teams from EU countries, the UK, Switzerland, Australia, South Africa, and other markets.
Competitor and comparable markets analysis within the aged care services sector across the APAC region, identifying best practices for talent attraction and retention strategies.
Market expansion analysis for a niche Europe-based SaaS provider considering entry into new markets across APAC, LATAM, and North America.
Commercial due diligence support for a large privately owned conglomerate in the Middle East.
Benchmarking analysis of professional services providers across the MEA region, identifying gaps in service offerings and market positioning for one of the BDO member firms.
Preparation of in-depth thought leadership reports for the natural resources and energy sector, including Oil & Gas, Mining, and Renewables, for BDO member firms globally.
Participate in consulting and research projects as a team or project leader.
Liaise with clients to define project parameters, including scope of work, timelines, post-project communication, and related matters.
Gather and analyse information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate findings to clients.
Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to identify relevant insights.
Prepare business presentations tailored to project requirements, including Market Analysis, Industry Trend Reports, Competitive Analysis, Company Profiles, and Thought Leadership materials.
Contribute to problem-solving sessions by proposing practical solutions.
Conduct quality assurance reviews of research data, analysis, and deliverables to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Contribute to the company’s business development initiatives.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Management, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in consulting, Big Four firms, investment banking, venture capital, research organisations, think tanks, or similar analytical environments.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
English proficiency at C1 level or above, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Strong analytical thinking, research capabilities, and structured problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in project and/or team management.
