Conducting audit procedures. Performing audit procedures in accordance with internal methodology and International Standards on Auditing (ISA), analysing information obtained, documenting audit findings and identifying potential risks and non-compliance in a timely manner.

Quality assurance (Quality Check). Reviewing completed audit procedures and working papers for compliance with internal quality standards, methodological requirements and International Standards on Auditing, and providing constructive feedback.

Communication with international teams. Working professionally with German audit teams on the performance of audit procedures, clarifying requests, discussing identified issues and agreeing on further actions, while meeting established deadlines and quality standards.

Project team coordination. Allocating tasks among colleagues within the project, monitoring progress and supporting the team throughout the delivery of audit assignments.

Mentoring. Training and supporting the professional development of junior specialists, sharing practical experience and promoting best practices within the team.

Process improvement. Identifying opportunities to optimise audit processes and improve the quality of the final deliverables.

University degree in Accounting and Auditing, Finance, Economics or a related field.

Professional qualification or progress towards one is an advantage: ACCA, DipIFR, CPA or an auditor qualification certificate.

Languages: Ukrainian – fluent. English – Business Proficiency level / B2–C1 or above, sufficient for confident written and verbal communication with international partners. German – a significant advantage.

Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables and working with large datasets. Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook, as well as experience using audit software and electronic document management systems.

Experience working with clients’ accounting systems (SAP) is desirable.

At least 5 years’ experience in external audit, including work on international projects.

Proven experience independently managing external audit projects, rather than being responsible only for individual audit areas.

Experience coordinating team activities and performing final reviews of working papers.

Experience working with international clients or within an international audit network.

Audit process: In-depth understanding of the full external audit cycle, including planning, risk assessment, controls testing, substantive procedures and forming the audit opinion.

Standards: Practical experience applying IFRS and/or ISA. Knowledge of HGB is a significant advantage.

Working papers: Experience documenting audit procedures in accordance with methodology, ensuring completeness and traceability of audit evidence.

Quality assurance: Experience performing final reviews of colleagues’ working papers and providing constructive feedback.

Risk assessment: Ability to identify risks of material misstatement and non-compliance in a timely manner and escalate issues to the project manager.

Financial reporting: Ability to analyse financial statement line items, understand the relationships between financial statements and perform analytical procedures.

Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Independence: Ability to manage a project from planning through to completion without daily supervision.

Communication: Clear, professional and diplomatic verbal and written communication, including in English.

Mentoring and developing others: Willingness to coach junior specialists and share knowledge and experience.
